We developed this website as a replacement site to merge three different websites into the main BMW Car Club website. All programming code and framework has been converted from ASP to PHP and databases re-written and designed to provided far more optimised indexing, lower runtimes on quiries and better overall perrformance.

Code Conversion

Originally written in ASP with a SQL database and access flat files the website was under strain and Sound Networks was maintaining the website and updating other PHP systems so they can all work together. We were asked if we could re-build the main club website so that everything could work together, use a centeralised database and provide a better overall service.

Three websites in one

Originally We brought together three existing websites and merged them into the main BMW Car Club website. This move was again initiated by the BMW Car Club to make a better user experience and to use a centeralised database rather than external connections.

E-commerce system

Added into the club was a new updated e-commerce system intergrated into SagePay

 

 

Search Engine Optimisation

We also carried out extensive SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
