The
South East Region covers East Sussex, Surrey, Kent, London and Middlesex.
We have some very interesting and exciting ideas to take the Region
into the next millennium. The Region not only includes London, with
all the sights and sounds that the Capital offers, including "the
world's largest Car Park", (known locally as the M25 motorway!),
but the whole of the South East of England encompassing, Kent with,
its Hop Farms and Castles to visit plus Brands Hatch and Lydden
motor racing circuits, East Sussex, Surrey and Middlesex.
The ports
of Dover and Folkestone with the Channel Tunnel make this region
ideally placed to make the most of the opportunities to visit other
European BMW Car Clubs.
Due to the variety of possible venues for the Car Club events, we organise
Open Days, Concours, Race Days, Family Days plus plain old Get-Togethers
- events which suit all members of the family.
The South East Region works closely with some of the area BMW Dealerships
and the Committee is determined to involve more. Also, any BMW Workshops
and Tuners are being invited to hold Open Days for the members, catering
for all types and ages of BMW cars and their owners.
The aim is for members to become aware of their dealers and the dealers
to become aware of the members of the BMW Car Club. The club's motto lives
in the South East Region "Run by the Members for the Members!"
E-NEWSLETTER
The South East Region has an E-Newsletter service which will save time for members searching the web site and forums.
For when I have updated the web site or we have information that has not made the clubs bi-monthly magazine and Newsletter deadlines, but we think our regions members need to know about. Such as: last minute events, date changes and South East Region News.
The regions E-Mail service will send an instant notice to your inbox.
