| Hello and welcome to the North East Regional dedicated page. The region itself covers a very large area running from the Scottish boarders at the very top all the way down through to Rutland at the top of the midlands. Although we are classed as one region there are various branches with local meets within our region. They each have their own regular meets and are as follows: Tyne - Tees: Held on the first wednesday of the month at the Dun Cow, Primrose Hill, Bournmoor, Chester-Le-Street DH4 6DY. There is a reserved meeting room and the evening kicks off at 7.30 - 8.00pm. Vale of York & Humber: Held on the last tuesday of every month at the Barnes Wallis at Howden, The pub is situated on the B1228 about a mile north of Howden off junction 37 of the M62. This CAMRA award winning pub is a must for lovers of real ale and hearty portions of good food. Peak & South Yorkshire: Has moved to the Twin Oaks Hotel Church Lane, Palterton, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S44 6UZ. Located just off Junction 29 of the M1 take the Palterton turn. Please note it is the second monday of the month and the evening officially starts at 8pm although you will find members in the restaurant beforehand. Lincolnshire: This new meet is held at The Tattershall Park in Tattershall on the third Saturday of the month. The location has much going for it as there are lots of activities in the area including Tattershall Lakes, Castle and The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. As well as going to the pub we are also a very active region and we attend and host a number of events throughout the year. Our main regional event is held every year at the Father's Day show at Harewood House. This well attended and popular event is very much a family event with many things to see and do as well as hosting our annual regional concours event. We aren't just about the polishing though, our region is host to two annual trackdays. Cadwell Park, nicknamed 'mini Nürburgring' is 10 miles north of Horncastle and five miles south of Louth. Cadwell Park has many climbs and descents, plenty of twisty corners and goes through open park and woodland over its 2.25 mile length. It really is a fabulous circuit. Croft Circuit near Darlington in the lovely North Yorkshire countryside. This superb 2.1 mile circuit has fast sweeping curves and long straights followed by slow corners making it a real treat for drivers. To whet your appetite a bit further here's a few upcoming events: Goathland and Whitby - Sunday May 19th Some of the finest scenery, tea shops and fish & chips in the region. Renishaw Hall Show – Wednesday June 12th This year we intend on meeting up beforehand and going in together nice and early to get a good spot. The show kicks off at 3pm and continues until everyone’s had enough, usually just before it gets dark. Father's Day at Harewood - Sunday June 16th Our main event of the year and regional concours. Tickets are £5 per car on the day.
