| The Central Region covers Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, and Southern Shropshire. The actual area covered, West to East, is from the Welsh border to approximately between the M1 and A1, and from north of Birmingham to an approximate line along the M4 in the South. In the east of the region we have the home of British Motor Sport, Silverstone, where we have an annual display at Silverstone Classic historic racing weekend at the end of July. We also attend large Car Shows at Duxford Air Museum, in May and August, in conjunction with the 7seriesregister, the2002 Register,East Anglia and South East Regions. In 2009, we arranged a total of 20 events in our region, ranging from Drive and Dine through historic countryside, before a meal at a lakeside family restaurant; Annual visit to Meguiar's at Daventry; Car Shows at Bletchley Park, home of the Enigma wartime project; and Country shows at various town shows, including our annual visit to Kimbolton School in July. From March to October, we try to arrange outdoor events for most weekends, that have a family interest,as well as car content. We welcome all ages of cars (and people!), with all types of BMW's (and derivatives). It doesn't matter if it is a standard spec car, modified, restored or new car, your welcomed to EnJOY your driving experience with like minded members. The North of the region is Birmingham and all that goes with the country's second city. Phil Rosenbloom has well established Z register/Central drive and dine evenings which are always popular; see the club events page for actual details. In August, the Clubs National Festival is held right here in the Central region, at the National Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire, where you can also have a chance to drive your car round the Aston Martin test track. The BMW display is the largest in the UK (and possibly, the world) During the winter months, the BMWCC normally have club display stands at national car shows at the NEC, Birmingham. As you can see there is something for everyone; most importantly, something for all BMW enthusiasts. SO WHY NOT JOIN US! There are more details of national and central region events, in the clubs main events calendar page, which can be found in both the clubs forum and the monthly magazine.
